Greetings,

It is with deep sorrow that I must share with you the news that today, April 18, 2023, at 7:30 a.m., Dr. Charles F. Stanley was called home to be with Jesus. I am saddened, but I am also thankful because I know that Dr. Stanley is rejoicing in the presence of the Lord he loved and served with everything in him. He is worshipping his Savior in person and finally is freed from the limits of this world. Likewise, I am grateful, as I’m sure you are, that Dr. Stanley remained with us for as long as he did. His teaching helped us all draw closer to God and love each other as the church. I’m humbled and proud to have been his friend.

I am also thankful for you. Your support for Dr. Stanley’s mission made it possible for him to serve the Lord and others. Because of your partnership in broadcasting the gospel, millions of people around the world have heard God’s plan of salvation and have placed their faith in the Savior. And they’re helped, year after year, with biblical teaching that points them to God’s truth and encourages them at every step.

I realize that you may be wondering what this means for yourself and fellow broadcast partners. I want you to know that In Touch Ministries is dedicated to preserving Dr. Stanley’s powerful legacy. We will continue to broadcast his timeless messages as long as the Lord allows. Dr. Stanley was faithful, and we are committed to following his example—carrying on the mission to preach the good news and to encourage the body of Christ. We trust you will continue with us in that mission into the future.

Certainly, every day, we’re closer to the day Jesus returns, and there is much work to be done. In the coming weeks, we’ll share more about how we’re going to keep serving the Lord and His people. In the meantime, I’d like to leave you with Dr. Stanley’s words:
“God wants a relationship of joyful intimacy with you. That relationship is His highest priority for your life, and it will determine the impact of your life. Trust in Him with all your heart, draw near to Him, and He’ll work through you in an awesome and exciting way for all your days.”

Please know that Dr. Stanley was profoundly honored and blessed every day by your partnership, and I am too. Thank you, from all of us at In Touch Ministries, for your support and prayers. May God’s graciousness sustain you with comfort, peace, and hope.
